Someone here should jump on this and get the first response comment in.

I think the proper response to this is that the confidence you hear in his voice is not arrogance but steadfastness. His tone is aimed at an establishment that tried to bury him and suppress the non-astroturf wing of the tea party. It's a warning shot fired at the usual suspects in Washington, as if to say "you guys aren't taking the country's problems seriously. And we're coming to hold you accountable and force these issues."

Also, you should point out to him, if he watched on CNN and therefore only saw the first half of the speech, he should watch the rest of it. CNN cut away right as he was finished railing at Obama, and before he turned his attention to the GOP and to the country's problems in general. I think if you only watched the CNN broadcast it's easy to mistake his stern tone for arrogance.

Having said that, yeah, Rand is a little arrogant, but in a good way. :)

Feel free to steal/adapt my words without retribution, I don't care, I just don't feel like creating an account on TPM, etc.

Lmao, calls him "arrogant" and "a jerk" without explaining why.

Ahh, and no method of feedback.

That's classy. I'd say ignore him. He was on Colbert one time, and joked (I think) that one day their site would be more popular than the New York Times.
