View Full Version : When RP wins, who's going to DC for the Inauguartion?

This is something I have been thinking about a lot lately. I was wondering who here would go to the presidential inauguration of Ron Paul in DC? I cant begin to imagine the size of the party that would occur on the streets of DC as I would assume all of us hardcore RP supporters would descend on our nations capital to witness the greatest event in our nations recent history.

Anyone else given this any thought?

knowing I'd be defending America rather than some Saudi dicatator in the middle of a desert somewhere, I'll bet enlistment would soar, and you would not need criminals to pick from.

It is our job to be there regardless of who is being sworn in.

I've been thinking the same exact thing. I was thinking of joining the military (before I heard of Ron Paul) and I decided against it because something just didnt feel right. Now that my eyes have been opened, I would NEVER join the military and protect the interests of the rich while at the same time sacrificing my own future and that of my family.

I couldn't miss one of the most historic events in U.S. history. That day will be written in history books for centuries.

I would also consider joining the military (currently 27), something I've refused to do as I can't trust these guys not to put me in a war that I don't believe in.

I'd definitely go to the inauguration.

I can't think of anything else I'd rather do. If RP gets elected, I will try harder to go to the inauguration than to do anything else I've ever done.

RP needs our money right now more than ever...forget about stupid inaugurations when we can't even meet our goal of mere 4 millions. So let's start focusing on the money.

MONEY + Commercials = Ron Paul wins...... Why.....Because he just fu#$&*^g make sense.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :p :)

Good call. People need to get more active, not worry about going to an inauguration that won't happen unless we keep working!

DC is about an hour and a half from where I'm at in Pa. I'd probably take the week off and party like I've never partied in my life. That would probably mean leaving the wife and kids at home. :D

Id rather think of our 12 million dollar goal than of the inauguration, atleast for now.

But it would be a grand day...

I'd like to hope that the idea of being Free and Restoring the Republic is the greatest carrot anyone could dangle.

Absolutely without a doubt.
In fact, after RP gets the nomination, I'll be putting a deposit on a suite at the Hay-Adams for an Inauguration Eve hospitality suite to which you are ALL invited, and once we get good and lit up we can go out in Lafayette Square and moon GWB...throw moving boxes over the White House fence and tell him to get busy and get the hell out.

Just my little daydream.

Well, since I doubt that Paul will be able to invute all of us, where are we going to go? Bradley's apartment? :)

There's a MeetUp group: http://ronpaul.meetup.com/379/

Inaugurations are not stupid, the month is not over and everything else is needless to say

I'm not worried, I do what I can, and broad brush painting makes an ugly post.

'Zactly, visualization of goals is very helpful in attaining them

which is what an RP inaugural symbolizes.

I'd swim across the ocean if I had too;)
