The Gold ATM
Imagine the year is 2110. Somehow, you have magically time traveled to a museum in America which details our history of currency. The Futuristic American reviews the struggles of Andrew Jackson and the Central Bankers, Lincolns' greenbacks, and the nefarious Federal Reserve Act of 1913. The Futuristic American scratches his head in confusion over how his ancestors were fooled for so long by such a small group, which posed as a branch of the Federal Government.

This gold ATM machine could be the first physical manifestation of the ideals proposed by Ron Paul's Free Competition in Currency Act. I imagine a great video or hologram explaining how a piece of technology like this, along with the Ron Paul Revolution of Sound Money, Civil Liberties, and restoring our government to a Constitutional Republic actually saved America from utter financial ruin and total economic collapse.

Educate yourself about Ron Paul's 'Free Competition in Currency Act' with the below YOUTUBE video and accompanying links..

"The machine dispenses 24-carat gold bars in 1, 5, and 10 gram sizes as well as gold coins. A computer inside the machine keeps track of the gold price in real time and updates it every ten seconds but maintains the price for a given buyer for ten minutes."

"There are plans to install 200 more machines in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. It is noteworthy that the technology of tracking the gold price in real time could be adapted to tracking the gold-silver exchange rate thus reducing the transactions costs and facilitating the development of gold and silver parallel standards."

RON PAUL'S SPEECH INTRODUCING THE BILL-
"...allowing for competing currencies will allow market participants to choose a currency that suits their needs, rather than the needs of the government. The prospect of American citizens turning away from the dollar towards alternate currencies will provide the necessary impetus to the US government to regain control of the dollar and halt its downward spiral. Restoring soundness to the dollar will remove the government’s ability and incentive to inflate the currency, and keep us from launching unconstitutional wars that burden our economy to excess. With a sound currency, everyone is better off, not just those who control the monetary system. I urge my colleagues to consider the redevelopment of a system of competing currencies and cosponsor the Free Competition in Currency Act.http://www.infowars.com/ron-paul-introduces-the-free-competition-in-currency-act/ (http://www.infowars.com/ron-paul-introduces-the-free-competition-in-currency-act/)

There are far more machines dispensing Coke cans which makes them universally available. Will they put gold vending machines in all neighborhoods? Maybe we should have a "Coke can" standard for competing currencies?

There's one at least in Frankfurt's main station.
