I just took a few hours to post a message on the wall of all 300 of my Facebook friends, asking them to donate $10 or $20 (or more if they wanted) to Peter Schiff's campaign, and explaining that the convention is coming up this week and that the bigger the splash we can make there, the better Peter's odds in the August primary. As a result, I've gotten a whole bunch of people to say they would donate today.
What if we got hundreds of Schiff supporters to do the same thing on the same day? Hundreds of Schiffheads, each contacting their hundreds of Facebook (or Myspace, etc.) friends.
Is anyone in for a Wordbomb? If so, what date would be best, and does anyone want to set up a pledge website to promote it?
