We should all kindly email(Keith Olbermann) and warn him that he needs to inform his listeners about RON PAUL ASAP,so his show doesnt look bad, since he is about 2 months behind the times in the real world and if he doesnt it will not look good as the rest of MSM has been reporting on him and more to come;0. can someone start a thread possibly with that theme...

feel free to start it if you want -- that's a good point about Olbermann being behind the times, maybe pointing that out to him would work....

The Washington Journal interview is confirmed on Ron's website, and shows to be an hour long, so I think we can assume it will be fresh content! Fantastic!

Screw that guy.

Yep.. Keith seems pretty full of himself.. I doubt he'll do anything as cool as Jack Cafferty did..

When I seen that segment of Cafferty's, it reminded me a bit of the guy from the movie "Network".. I thought he was going to stand up and start yelling "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" :D

A nice interview, but he's really dodging some of her questions in my opinion.

How's it going to be tough to follow?

Let's see...

On one side we have a pack of lies (ie. man-made global warming) and on the other, we have truth (ie. Ron Paul).

Frankly, I'm not seeing how Al Bore and the propagandists are hard to follow at all.

Okay, parts made me cringe, but overall I think it was a good appearance.

I disagree with most above, that was a very good, almost completely positive interview. Good tone, great message, and very long by comparison with most interviews.

He was SOOOO Presidential-looking and made SOOOOO much sense!

Comparing this interview compared to, say, his "interview" with O' Reilly is as different as night and day. Great job here, the only strange question was the VTech one.

I think it's great to see him responding in this format. His friendly, calm, informed demeanor is exactly what he needs to combat those who say he whines in a high-pitched voice that is not presidential during the debates.

Way to go, Dr. Paul!!

VTech one? Did I miss something?

he obviously dodged the question about eliminating the IRS -- giving a curt answer
about not being able to do it alone and then lodging into a discourse on the war.
anybody else see another?

I didn't see it that way at all. He was explaining that we would have to cut spending, in order for us to get rid of the income tax. That is why he talked about the war and policing the world.

It was a great interview. People will always nitpick, but some of the answers making you cringe? Get real. Dr. Paul did a great job and often talked about the transition period that a lot of people on here have been screaming at him to say! Now he does and he's still criticized because he's dodging questions. Great job Dr. Paul! At least some of us think you're doing well.

I disagree with most above, that was a very good, almost completely positive interview. Good tone, great message, and very long by comparison with most interviews.I agree with you. I don't think it could have been a better interview. He always interviews well when talking to somehow who is honest and rational and doesn't have an axe to grind - I guess what you would call a real journalist.

Dodges: Question about what situations he would take military action, specifically what would he like to abolish, would he like to see all states ban abortion nationwide. Some were full dodges, others were partial. I'm sure I'll remember more when I watch it again.

I thought it was his best interview yet! I don't think he could have been more clear in his answers. My mom, who has not been a Ron Paul supporter in the past, watched it with me and she surprisingly liked it. She said to me, "wow he is pretty intelligent-definitely not a cook". She saw his ideas as clear and logical. She finally now understands why i support him. :) The interview definitively was Ron at his best.

You're wrong.I agree. I don't know what the point of these posts about RP supposedly dodging are. I thought he was honest, straightforward and as clear about his positions as he could possibly be.

Ron doesn't dodge, but he does show how the link between the economy and the disastrous and expensive foreign policy is the main problem.

Nefertiti
10-12-2007, 06:57 PM
It's not that he was dodging exactly, but that is how he could come across to some and seemed to come across to the interviewer, since she repeated her question twice.
