Fueled by unhappiness with the direction of the GOP Rand Paul leads 52-34 in our final poll:

http://tinyurl.com/2dexcp6

32% of likely primary voters think that the party is too liberal and Paul has a 71-21 advantage with them that accounts for almost his entirely polling lead.

There are more Republicans planning to vote on Tuesday (41%) who are unhappy with the current direction of their party than ones who are happy with it (36%). Among those discontented folks Paul has a staggering 59-28 lead which more than offsets the 47-45 lead Grayson has with the voters who think the party's current course is fine.

Rand favorables: 60 - 23
Trey favorables: 42 - 29

55% of republicans will vote for Trey if he is nominee, 67% will vote for Rand if he is nominee. (~20% unsure)

20% of republicans oppose War in Iraq... 67% for it.

19% of republicans consider themselves libertarian. 81% say no.

Gurley draws 4% !!!!

Another thing Paul's victory will not be is a particular mandate for Libertarian Republicanism. We did a test of some of the leading 2012 GOP candidates in the state and Ron Paul registered at just 8%, well behind Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, and Mitt Romney. Additionally only 19% of primary voters self identify as Libertarians.

Ron Paul draws 8% in Kentucky among Republicans for 2012 - that's not too bad

19% identify as libertarians (that's actually decent)

That was depressing...

whats more depressing is that some think Paul holds political office. :)

This also shows that the Republican status quo has lost most of it's influence - Cheney, Julieannie, etc.
That is a very good thing for us.
