Yeah, it's sad, I started my local Ron Paul meetup right after his splash in the GOP "debate" in 07, and there were a LOT of democrats at that first meetup! I think within a few months, all of them had disappeared and were migrating to Obama & even Clinton. Very sad, I thought we were really on to something with the ideas but in the end, people got scared and listened to the propaganda in the MSM more than logic and reason.

I heard a lot of excuses as to why the dems turned against Paul, mostly it was 1) abortion, and 2) his border/immigration policy. One democrat I know who initially supported Paul told me that she jumped off the bandwagon when she heard he would not send troops to Darfur!
