We can air Ron Paul TV commercials on The View for $700 per spot on WMUR, the statewide ABC affiliate for N.H. We could use the mosaic ad and have mrchubbs's wife, a professional voiceover artist, record it.

I'm thinking we could make waves by scripting a V.O. playing on the fact that Joy Behar has mentioned Ron Paul numerous times.

"Why does Joy Behar like to talk about Ron Paul? He is the ONLY candidate who would do a, b & c. Ask yourself: why does it take a person like Joy Behar to get the discussion about Ron Paul going? Doesn't he deserve to be heard? Go to ronpaul2008.com to find out more."

Not THAT script, but you get the idea... I think this would be worth the cost and if we script it well enough, could get some media attention.

meh, that seems a little desperate to mention Joy Behar in the commercial...

P.S. We've already done this on Ellen (because it was cheap) yesterday and today, and on Sunday morning we're doing it for Close-Up, the NH Sun. morning political talk show.

The grassroots has now gone down in history as being the first to get Ron Paul ads on TV in N.H. I got an e-mail from Linda Lagana, NH Meetup organizer, saying she saw the ads herself and they looked great!

I will ask someone in NH to try to YouTube Sunday's show, where the ad will air 3 times in the 30 min show

can we use the anti-war commercial? It's on one of the threads on this board and its really good. I think NH is an anti-war state.

A little clarification... She's not my wife, but my friend's wife. :-)

And they are both big Ron Paul supporters. She would be happy to
help out any way she can.

Enjoy.

Run ads, sure. But I wouldn't use Joy Behar's name..

we need to get this going because rumor has it (from the Iowa rally) that Ron Paul will be on "The View" sometime in the near future.

I think it's a good idea to run an Ad during this show, but not to use Joy Behar's comments in it.

I think LadyJade said he will be on the View on Dec. 4th.

oprah is racist.
That's quite a strong statement, but even assuming it were true, does that really mean they shouldn't run an ad on Oprah? It would still get a massive ton of viewers, and Oprah's being racist wouldn't automatically make all her viewers racist. The argument that just because Oprah is racist (which is a premise that many people will not agree with, already making the argument difficult) doesn't lead all that directly (if at all) to the conclusion that ads shouldn't be run during her show.
