Also, it looks like Beck is going to be doing a special tomorrow on the history of the Fed (web only - will cost $6.26 to access his premium site for 1 month. He's giving free access today and yesterday which he advertised on his show which is how i found out about it)

Making fun of it makes it no less true. I'll never trust him until I see how he reacts around 2012, and until then I'm sure as hell not giving him 7 bucks.

Any Beck fan care to explain why he never has Peter Schiff on anymore (pretty much since he moved to Fox) after having him on all the time on CNNHN.

And Beck will stab Rand Paul in the back just like he did with Ron Paul ("That kooky guy Ron Paul").
I don't trust that snake.
He IS a controlled dissent and orchestrated distraction.
Also he is a pro-Israeli Zionist.

$6.26 eh?

If I pay him $7.26 can I get a plug for the Vitter amendment before it's voted on? What? Too late?

Apparently Beck isn't that concerned with the destruction of America.

My thanks to all, especially here in the forums, who don't find it neccessary to charge for info they come across.

Because Schiff sounds like a broken record and doesn't bring much to the table.

You could say exactly the same thing about Ron Paul, if you were trying to marginalize him.

O Rly? This is what I found after a few seconds of searching:

YouTube - PS2010 - Peter Schiff on Glenn Beck 7-31-09 "Depression is beginning" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfjgWx3zQ6Q)

I think the problem is the ones who tend to make accusations about Beck are usually people who don't regularly watch or listen to him.

Glenn Beck has been becoming more and more libertarian as time went on. I get of his religious stuff, but I do enjoy much of what he says. I hope he becomes an ancap one day. What he says about anarchists is spot off. He doesn't know what he's talking about

More about Beck and Bush. So many people did not watch his show, while he was on headline news, where he battered the GOP like a pinata once their duplicitious agenda was made clear:

http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/196/39115/

GLENN: A story that we have followed for a very, very long time when George Bush, this is really, I mean, the prescription drug thing with George W. Bush was staggering to me. And then when he did nothing on the border; in fact, he did the opposite on the border of what he should have done, it made no sense and that's when I began to question absolutely everything I believed about the Republicans and about George W. Bush. That was my "Come to Jesus" moment and I said wait, wait, wait. Because of what was happening on the border, I believe I even called for the impeachment of George W. Bush. It is criminal what we have done on the border. We have missing Americans. We now have murdered Americans. And over the weekend I heard this audio from Sheriff Arvin West from Hudspeth County in Texas. This is what he told ranchers in his county.

You also forgot the one where he persuaded public opinion on illegal wars for years that ended up killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. Ask any double, triple, or quadruple amputee Iraqi of what they think of people like Beck promoting the War in Iraq over the years.

Not to mention he also eats babies.

And some of us woke up and saw him for he who really is. So the problem might lie in the fact that his supporters are still making excuses for him and are drinking his special blend of self-destruction.

I don't always like what he says, but I like to watch him hate on Obama [and dems, rinos, communists].... It's the only reason why I watch him.

I'm ancap

I'm not going to lie and say he's a propagandist. I just think he's wrong on various issues. He's a flag waver, what do you expect?

I wish it were just that he is a flag waver. He has been quite effective in herding the very people that could help support liberty right onto the rail cars of their self destruction. It is frustrating and probably why many of us have such deep seated hatred for him.

I guess I consider Beck a great example of how half-truths are actually far more dangerous than lies. Beck drops just enough truth to sound controversial and iconoclastic, but he always does it in the service of a straightforward, "mainstream," GOP partisan agenda. Which is fine, except it won't win votes. He preaches to the choir to explain Republican electoral annihilation, but he's good at making it sound like new songs. So the choir will sit there and listen, thinking that they're somehow being re-ennervated.

Actually, Beck seems adamant about blowing up both parties. As a result, he's had conservative stalwarts Limbaugh, Levin and Bennett attack him for being too hard on the GOP. For a man working on the Fox News Network, he's made it abundantly clear that the GOP has been infiltrated for quite some time.

Yeah, at the risk of sounding more dogmatic than I like to consider myself, until he submits 100% to the Ron Paul platform, I have no use for him. He does more harm than good by filling old peoples' heads with fairy tales about "taking America back" or whatever crap isn't going to work on a generation of young Obamabots and South-Parkers.

He is using his powers for evil, not good.

No one , not even Ron Paul can wake up the obamabots or South Parkers. They have been cut off from reality. Real hardship and pain will be the only agents of liberation for those ignorant souls.

Oh, I strongly disagree. They're waking up as we speak. They're experiencing hardship and pain, why else do you think they embrace this sort of cultural detritus? Liberation must come nonetheless, as even you agree. And for someone with Beck's clear power of oratorical skill, to take advantage of the situation cynically is just plain sleazy. It's a shame because he is a powerful figure, for whatever reason, at a crucial historical juncture.
