Thats really sad. Someone please give that kid a Ron Paul slim-jim ASAP. It really sickens me to see all the crap that the government goes through to make a damn WEED illegal. Thank goodness Dr. Paul will be putting an end to this wasteful war on drugs. I can see the border becoming 1000% safer when we don't have to have armed gangs running drugs across the borders... poor dealers though are going to be out of a job.

An FYI:
Marijuana is often used to treat nausea and vomiting, and settles down the body so that people can take their regular medicines, and also helps significantly with loss of appetite. This is fantastic for chemo patients, who regularly vomit up their pills and have significant appetite loss.

The trouble with synthetic marijuana (like Marinol (http://www.marinol.com/)) is that it comes in pill form, so people have trouble keeping even that down. Inhaled marijuana, on the other hand, stays in the system and calms down the body enough for the person to take their normal pills.

Medical marijuana is a very real solution to a pressing medical problem. Peter McWilliams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_McWilliams) is thought to have choked to death on his own vomit because the feds were working hard to prosecute him for using marijuana.
