I like it, except the voice at the end. It could be changed a bit, it sounds forced.

Condemned out of his own mouth! This one will leave a mark on Trayson for sure.

I love how it isn't a 2-second clip taken out of context, either (like Grayson's ads). It's not out of context at all--that was his point.

I guarantee these commercials resonate with the folks outside of the big cities.

Trey says he "doesn't support a bill budget..." (budget as a correction from bill). That makes it a little confusing.

The question is, will this ad and others by Rand get anywhere near as much airplay as Trey's ads + the swiftboat ads?

Will this resonate with the undecided voters?

We may think this ad is awesome but what really matters is whether this will reach undecided KY Republicans who are likely to vote, let alone, whether it will convince them that Rand is the better candidate.

I have no doubt that they will be seeing the swiftboat ad, and for those that see both, does this do enough for Rand?

Rand is more than capable of a strong defense, hitting back over the ad, but he needs the money to do it with, and needs it ASAP. We need to really crank up the donations and seal this thing.

On defense attacks: They should fix up this ad a little .... and sprinkle it up with whatever else they are running!

The traditional Republican party that was so alien to us was a party of the business community and of smaller-town America. It had, traditionally, little use for intellectuals, whom it regarded (with some justification) as more foolish than wise; its economic policy stopped short at the ideal of a balanced budget; - Irving Kristol, Godfather of Neoconservatism

Balanced budgets have been meaningless since he and his friends hi-jacked the Republican party.

+1776.

This is in no small part due to the fact that the neo-conservatives have no interest in actually reducing the size of government, they merely wish to use it to effectuate their aims. So even when a budget is balanced, or in surplus, spending will only continue its seemingly inevitable rise.
