Just saw this for the first time. The time for comments ended yesterday. Great notice.

This just might be the final straw if they try it.

People are good little citizens and if Congress deems health care a privilege... a privilege it is. Same goes if Congress deems retirement a privilege.

This was talked about on the forums several months ago.

I know.

I didn't think they would be stupid enough to try it. It sounds like the unions are pressing them.

I don't see how they could do this. It is private property, no?

Has private property stopped them before?

I consider mine private property. Once people wake up this is past the comment point and down to decision time they are going to get irate. I can just see any debate on this one melting the phone and fax lines.

This is just what we just might need to get a clean sweep of some of these idiots out of office this Nov. If people find out BO or any politician is for this, it just might do the trick.

People need to start making the politicians commit right now on how they would vote if this comes up. Time is getting short.

Judging from a past letter I received from Sen. J. Kyle, concerning IRA'S he would likely vote for that type of bill. I wish I had kept his snotty reply. My wife and I were so mad we ripped it up.

I have been hearing about this for months.

Is it included in the financial reform bill?

It is easy to do this; one simply needs the right crisis and not let it go to waste.

My understanding is they are coming up with proposed rules and regulations and no bill yet.

Rest be assured they will come up with the proposed rules and regulations that will have to be voted upon.

Everyone better keep their eye out for what is going on here. They could well back date this, if they ever get started, to trap everyone. It would not be the first time that has happened.

Everyone needs to start letting their reps. know that we are not taking this one laying down. The Democrats will all be for this one. Just bet that. Control of your money. I don't think most Republicans will want any part of this ploy. They are already skating on thin ice.
