Should all IRS agents have all previous earnings taken from them?

They essentially are extortion agents who are paid with stolen money to steal even more money from people.

All their earnings and everything they spent those earnings on should be seized.

We'd do the same thing to the mafia's employees - the State and it's minions shouldn't be treated differently because they claim some "legitimacy".

I would argue the same thing about all State employees, but that's probably even more controversial.

it sounds good at first, but think about the implications. suppose they bought an apple from you. you didn't know it was stolen money. then someone has to take that stolen money from you, and the state employee already ate the apple. you end up without your production and without your earnings.

there's gotta be a better way to transition to a better society. i'm gonna read some bastiat this summer and see if it can inspire me to find a better answer.
