5/4 is right around the corner. Now is the time, if you live in or near the district, to get some lawn signs from the campaign and put them out around your town. Or print some of the campaigns mailers and drop them in the mail to your neighbors.

Remember, regardless what the GOP insider straw polls tell us, it's the grassroots voters who count, so the more they see BJ's name around town and in their mailbox, the better it is for us!

BJ has got this. After Frank ran a phone bank smear campaign, he then put out a press release about how BJ "smeared" him. Of course these "smears" were merely factual statements about Frank's crooked company. He is driving so many voters away with his pro-fed, bomb Iran mantra that it's ridiculous, and we will be sending him packing soon. Good luck BJ.

May 4th is here, I hope everyone is out voting for Lawson right now, and we get good news.

When are the results released and is there a site we can watch them come in and what time?

There should be a thread in here on this. Go LAWSON!

Polls close here in North Carolina at 7:30PM Eastern. Given how light turnout is expected to be, results will probably be in by 9PM.

I voted around noon, and was #103 at my polling station. A co-worker of mine voted at a different polling station at lunch, and was #89. A light turn out indeed.

The amount of apathy in our nation is pathetic.

Oh wow the primary is today? Is Lawson expected to win?

Nice going! That is a very small turnout so far, wow. I totally agree this nation is so full of apathy now, it's beyond ridiculous. I hope every single liberty voter is going to be voting for Lawson today, and bringing others with them.

just voted in Apex and BJ was outside with his wife greeting people as they came in... along with his competitors. I was voter #185... absolutely pathetic turnout. was hoping to talk with him on my way out but they had left.

Another co-worker at yet another polling station told me they were also #89 at lunch. So at lunch, the break down was as follows:

Apex: 103
Cary: 89
Fuquay: 89

A little bit before 11am, Coles Store precinct had 36 ballots cast (including mine). I guarantee there is 1 vote for Lawson in those 36 ballots.

Wow, absolutely a very low turnout going on here, it sounds like. Good for us, every single vote counts in this primary. Keep the updates coming, alot of people are very interested in this race outside of this forum too...

Edit: Looks like we have about another 1:40 until the polls close...

If Lawson wins this primary, we need to make damn sure we fund this campaign to win it, like Rand Paul's.

That site doesn't seem to be as up to date as this one:

BJ 48.53%
Roche 37.96%

Just got back from 13 straight hours at my precinct. Everything went EXTREMELY well. Let's hope my precinct was representative of the district!

Off to the (soon to be) victory party!
