Which slim jim is best to distribute to the masses? The old one or the new one?

Both are good, geared towards slightly different audiences. Use both.

The hope for American one is ONLY good for REALLY conservative people. I gave it to my lifelong Republican grandfather. If 97% of Americans saw it though, they would go ''errr yikes'

Depends on the crowd. The old one was great for the gun show this weekend, but for a more left wing audience, the new one is better.

On average, I would say the old one works better here in Kansas. However, the new one would be better for other parts of the country.

I wanna say that the new one is better, but honestly I haven't really compared them.

I like "Ron Paul for President" a lot better personally, because it showcases his civil libertarian credentials. Dems and liberal Independents are much more likely to respond to that one. Then again, the old one is dynamite for 2nd amendment and national sovereignty advocates. I think I'm going to start giving one of each out to everybody, to cover all the bases! :D

The old one is good for GOP functions, gun shows, etc.

The new one is good for college campuses, left-leaning neighborhoods, etc.

Use both as appropriate.

I love the Reagan one. It's perfect for the people that we really need to convert. The other one doesn't really touch on the issues that conservatives care about...or at least doesn't highlight them.

I bought 1000 Reagan ones yesterday...hopefully they show up this weekend so I can pass them out here in Atlanta.

The new one is better. No abortion talk, and no Reagan picture (which I know is great for the 50+ crowd but for most others it's a turnoff).

Plus I like the "For President" right on top.

The new one is MUCH better for a lot of reasons... I did a long writeup of why the new one is better when it first came out. You should only use the new one.
