so fucking obvious.

whenever congress wants to pass a bill benefiting its corporate buddies all of a sudden the corporation starts behaving badly while simultaneously bad-mouthing the bill in order to give the impression that they are against it.

saw it just a few months back with the healthcare bill-- anthem blue jacks (http://articles.latimes.com/2010/feb/04/business/la-fi-insure-anthem5-2010feb05)the rates just as the corporate media was reaching fever pitch creating the necessary drama and momentum to get the piece of shit passed.

now we got the perpetual bailout bill and Goldman is simultaneously releasing its record profits and its bad-boy emails (http://www.finanznachrichten.de/nachrichten-2010-04/16717157-summers-goldman-emails-show-need-for-transparency-020.htm)so the corporate media can get this monstrosity passed and cement the big banks' market share in perpetuity.

people didn't learn shit from 1913.

so fucking obvious.

when the insurance companies raised rates in the middle of legislation that should have been a clear sign to anyone they want the bill. You don't do something like that if you want to gain public support during the biggest legislation of your industries career.

And this is just the nice stuff... Events tend to happen around crucial legislation to help grease it through. I will leave the rest up to the imagination as the word conspiracy is invoked as a mental defense mechanism.
