After 45 years of waiting and saving, Carol and I are finally building a house big enough to have all all 18 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids over. In fact, the contractor just poured the foundation on Thursday. I am excited to be in Texas today so I can check out the progress!

I really hope he went big-time on this house, and that he gets to enjoy it with his grandkids for many, many years.

Well, I guess if you prefer the status quo, you could be on permanent vacation. Personally, if I were to walk into the White House with any hope of getting the country back on track or dismantling the bureaucracy, I'd expect quite a bit of work ahead.
