The guy is so pro-fed, pro-interventionism, pro-Washington it hurts. I only ask that you keep your remarks CIVIL. Also, PLEASE SCREEN CAP YOUR COMMENTS. His camp is notorious for deleting comments and disallowing them altogether. I'd like to keep some record of this if possible.

What's the primary look like? Lawson has to have fairly good name recognition? I lived in the Triangle in 2007, and worked for the RP campaign, and I could tell even at the time that some of the folks, including those at the NCFRC weren't all that big fans of constitutional conservatism.

It's too bad Lawson doesn't live in a district less than D+28.... David Price is an "institution". I don't think he can be overthrown in the Triangle by anyone with an R by his name...

Lawson's newest fundraising numbers have come in, and aside from Frank's self-financing, we're even. Think about that for a minute...we've been campaigning for all of 3 months and we've equaled their individual contributions. Frank has been out on the road for just under a year.

BJ's name recognition also far surpasses Frank's. After my early voting stint shortly, I'll let you know what the voters I come across are feeling.

Just got back from the opening of early voting. It was tough to gauge a feeling because of how few people come through mid-day on a friday to vote.

Apparently there was already one minor skirmish at another location, though. I guess one of our people was talking to Roche's, and brought up how Frank worked at a Societe Generale location that was under investigation for fraud. Apparently Roche's minion was a lawyer and started threatening to sue. For what, I don't know. That's why I always carry a camera on me though :-)

You generally can't sue someone for accusing a public figure of working for a enterprise under investigation for fraud... if 1) he really did work there, and 2) he is a public figure.

Otherwise, claims can be made that the comment is defamation per se, as such a comment, if false, would harm a man's ability to work...
