At the federal level yes, but we have 3 incredible liberty candidates running for the state legislature. And afterall that is where the real battle is anyways...

I went to the Rubio tea party rally in Fort Myers and got kicked out.
My sign was simple;
Vote Marco Rubio (R) Primary
Vote Kendrick Meek (D) General Election

They brought the police in to escort me out but let me stay on the public sidewalk with my sign.

More evidence Marco Rubio is just another establishment shill.

Whatever respect I had for Marco Rubio is now gone. With Cheney's endorsement of Rubio, I am now assured that Rubio is an enemy of liberty, and that Jim Demint is seriously misguided.

I am still holding my hopes for Hostettler and Rand Paul. It would be great to have two liberty senators.

No, Palin makes endorsements to further HER political influence. Cheney makes endorsements to let people know who is "One of us" meaning the establishment.
Remember Cheney said Rand is not one of them, and endorsed Trayson.

Romney, Cantor, Cheney . . . they're all endorsing Marco to serve their own interests. You are not accountable for the political positions of your supporters.

No. Sarah Palin is not even close to being as utterly repulsive and despicable as Dick Cheney. Sarah Palin is definitely misguided on many issues, but unlike Cheney, she had done no harm to our liberties.

Many hardcore liberals, and firebrand liberty supporters like Adam Kokesh, consider Cheney to be a war criminal who belongs in prison. Nobody can say the same about the woman below.

I don't know all the details about the Florida primary, but isn't Marco Rubio preferable to Charlie Crist?

But regardless, Dick Cheney is a terrible man (though aren't most men when they gain power? Power corrupts everyone - and it's even worse when you're already a neocon/progressive before you gain power!)

Sounds like a way for Dick Cheney to keep up his cred. Made a mistake with Hutchinson. Same with Grayson. I have no doubt that he probably would rather have Crist....but this way he claim a win.

And what is Rubio going to do....turn down the former VP?

Rubio is what he is....probably good on fiscal shit. bad on everything else. Cheney's endorsement in not really something on which to judge his character.

Sincerely,

Slutter McGe

I'm surprised that Dick Cheney endorses anyone. I honestly don't see how that can help a candidate..

Very savvy theory, actually.

Rubio is Aspen institute graduate like Grayson, he will be a reliable vote for the establishment when needed and when he has his 6 year term, not an independent conservative despite the media and what he says.

There would be little difference between him and Crist
