So, Mitt Romney has said recently that he is running in 2012. He has essentially already started campaigning, through participating in numerous interviews on Fox News, Fox Business, etc. He's promoting his book and talking about ways to 'fix the economy'.

We obviously all know it's a bunch of BS, and Romney flip-flops more than a fish out of water. We also knows he's a big-govt neocon liberal scumbag who will do nothing to truly reduce govt spending, attack the federal reserve, stop our interventionist policy or anything that will move us in a direction of true prosperity and freedom.

We know this, but the hundreds of millions of american sheeple out there, do not and will go with who the MSM et al push on them. It seems like Fox already plans on pushing Romney as their choice, with how they keep talking him up and having him on.

Considering the great attention, even MSM attention Paul has been getting, the recent Rasmussen poll, and the overall grassroots effort and people all over startign to find out RP and his policies, and libertarianism...

Why is he saying he has no plans to run? Does he really not? Should we find someone for him to endorse ASAP (like Napolitano, et al?)

I feel we should jump in and provide a solid liberty candidate for 2012 to throw our and RP's weight behind someone (like getting RP to admit he will run, or to endorse someone now) and get ahead of the game, before Romney gets too much of a following.

Or is there a solid reasoning behind why he SHOULDN'T say he's running when he will???

Keep in mind that Ron is still running for his House seat, and everyone who runs against him at the local level, republican or democrat, tends to accuse Ron of having higher ambitions than just the district and that it is time to vote for someone who will focus on the district. Ron announcing a 2012 run (if it happens) won't happen until after he wins his house seat and a significant event occurs, likely of a financial nature.

RP knows as soon as he announces, he becomes an even bigger target. and the free coverage that he gets now would probably have to end because it would be like a campaign contribution.

let him decide when to announce.... he knows more than you do about it.

The Far Right RINO NEOCON's Manchurian Candidate... Mandate Mitt Romney is a Liberal Fascist.

His own doing will be his downfall quickly. He and his BAIN Capital Corporate Raiding won't be tolerated by the voters in 2012. Romney destroyed Companies, Pensions, and Jobs. Moved most jobs overseas... RomneyCare is Bankrupt and the quality and quantity medical service has declined. Mandate Mitt is one of the more destructive Republicrats.

This. (even though the financial part happened last year, but I get you since you're talking about another big one that might occur before 2012)

If the MSM and Foxnews gets its way he will be the 2012 Republican nominee.

Hmmm... Sounds kind of similar to what Paul is doing.

Considering we're more than two years away does it really matter whether he says he is running. Brett Favre hasn't said if he's returning to football yet and his season starts in five months. Be patient.
