I bet Hayworth would be beating McCain by double digits if Palin hadn't campaigned for him. I won't be smiling until Hayworth beats him.

What about the Republican liberty-oriented candidate in this Primary, Jim Deakin?

"Paid for by Friends of John McCain"

I don't trust most "Friends of John McCain." Yes, that includes my grandfather.

Edit: Not an endorsement of Hayworth, necessarily. If I had to pick between Hayworth and McCain to win, though, I think Hayworth makes a bigger statement about the low regard the grassroots GOP voter has for establishment Republicans.

I know, I don't like either of them. I just thought it was interesting that he was rated one of the dumbest members of congress.

By RADAR, which spends most of its time on celebrities. The whole ad was out-of-context smears from what it looked like. It's just a case of elephant hurling from what it looks like.

I hope Hayworth pulls it out not because he is so great but that McCain is such a turd. It would also be nice to see Palin get it shoved up her bum vent as well.
