Nice comments too.

The worst of the negative:

Ron Paul
Anothr Ross Perot, need to stay in Texas politics and get off the National scene. His presence is only disruptive.

And that was only one of maybe three.

The rest? Like this:

Ron Paul
I know that many conservatives disagree with Ron Paul on foreign policy. But, the truth of the matter is that non-intervention and no nation-building is the true conservative stance on foreign policy. Dr. Paul believes in a strong defense, and he has advocated tight border security. Too me, the first thing I would do to protect the nation from terrorism would be to strengthen our borders.

Ron Paul is spot on with the Constitution, economic freedom, and individual liberties. He scares big government conservatives like McCain, Cheney, and Romney because of that. He is a very honest man and very principled. I am in the military, and I supported Dr. Paul in 08 and I will support him again if he chooses to run.

One question for those conservatives that don't question our foreign policy: If you belive big government and deficit spending does not work domestically, why do you believe it works with our foreign policy? Big government doesn't work....period. If we are to fight wars, we go in there, fight to win, and get the hell out. Empire and wars destroy prosperity and constitutional republics. Ask Jefferson, Washington, and Madison that.

RE: RP's Obama is a corporatist remark:

Obama is a corporatist more so than a socialist. When Mussolini was aksed what the term fascism meant, he said that it would be more appropriately called corporatism, because it is the merger of business and government; privately owned but government run.

I think the government takeover of student loans, the car/truck industry, and the health insurance industry qualifies for corporatism more so than socialism based off the king corporatist himself, Benito Mussolini.

I wish...
I wish I had supported this guy in 2008. Not that my support would have put him in office, but at least I would sleep better now knowing I was in the right. He is a principled man and though I may not agree with him 100% he is the best person in the business.

Side note, what would everyone think of a Paul-Palin ticket or Paul-Bachmann?

Yep, these are folks like me that really found out about Ron Paul after the election. I assume there are a lot more like me.

I use to listen to Boortz. My bet is he is seeing a political shift and hedging bets. He's an opportunist. Opportunists can help the freedom movement. Feel slimey dealing with them and be ready for a quick shift on their part.
