Help on Constitution

Do you think it would be fair to claim that the US Constitution being written down could have a certain amount of basis in the concise codification of French law under Napoleon?

EDIT: I realize that the codification under Napoleon was AFTER the innovation of the US Constitution. However, could the constitution have been influenced by previous efforts at codification?

I was hoping that this would be a question about something IN the constitution *sigh*

It wouldn't surprise me. Franklin and Jefferson were huge fans of France, and Jefferson had got his ideas into the constitution through James Madison while Jefferson was in France.
