I'm looking for the announcement or any news.

This could neuter ObamaCare and give Dr. Paul a boost with the GOP all at the same time.

Heads up all.

Yeah, we need to push THIS one like we pushed RP08 -- or even harder! A victory on this point will dramatically increase results from a possible RP12 no joke...

I hate to say this, but all of the Republican calls for anything to kill the Health Care bill is a bit disengenuous. Even running on the platform of "elect the Republicans this fall so that we can kill this Health Care bill" is more political than anything.

Republicans would still need 60 votes in the Senate to kill the Health Care bill. They won't be getting that this year. They could probably get a majority in each, but not the 60 in the senate that they'd need.

Agreed, It won't be killed.
But this could neuter it. Nullify it for many.
It would also boost Dr. Paul with the party, which wouldn't hurt.

True. But if all the democrats get voted out who would vote against it, then the republicans that replace them will HAVE to vote for it or they'll be replaced with democrats next time around. Republicans are the ones who are telling us they're gonna repeal the bill, so if they were to vote against it, they'd pretty much be toast and they know it.

Ending the tax mandate does a hell of a lot of good, this means we will see many opting out of insurance when the prices continue to increase, and more doctors will start accepting non-insurance patients.

This bill should be passed immediately.

I am pretty sure that "dropping" is different from "introducing," but when this bill is introduced, we need to have MAD video of the event, along with a record of the attempt to refer it to the committee on rules, and the recorded vote for said attempt to kill the bill in committee.

This needs HUGE publicity, for sure. I wonder if a call-in drive to national and local media would produce any effect? It would be nice to see Dr. Paul's name associated with something this big and important. AND it would help disperse some of the "loony" comments. After all, how loony is it to oppose something that is also opposed by a majority of the American people?

I know this has been discussed on the forums already since the announcement that this bill was coming, but this is GREAT!

This bill presents Ron with a really sweet opportunity to rally the ENTIRE Republican Party behind him, as well as draw attention from all the People in this country who have either still not heard of him before or normally don't care for him.

If this bill passes, I'm pretty sure Ron's chances in 2012 will skyrocket.

The Republican Party better stand up and back Ron on this, otherwise they're passing up the chance to gain back the American People's support. This is the chance to finally tell President Obama, NO YOU CAN'T!

This is great.. The CPAC win, the SRLC results, HR 1207, now this bill. Combined with all of the warnings Ron gave in the 2008 election and the past 30 years... This is sparking a great deal of hope inside of me! I'm glad that I'll finally be able to vote for a President come 2012, and I'm looking forward to casting my first vote for President for RP. :D

I've been calling Boehner's Office a lot about this, (I live in his district.)

I convinced a staffer to personally give him my message, which is cool, and I am going to follow up in 2 days.

Here is the IMPORTANT NEWS. The staffer, while explaining to me what the reasons might be that Boehner has not co-sponsored End the Mandate, said that "Well, I see that Ron Paul introduced the bill. A lot of times Boehner is hesitant to co-sponsor bills that Ron Paul introduces because he deviates from the Republicans alot. I am not saying that is the reason, but that has happened in the past."

Those were not his exact words, but very close. I found it ridiculous that the house minority leader blatantly doesn't support bills for the sole reason that Ron Paul introduced them.

Just thought yall should know. I will also update in 2 days with what the staffers update is.

No it has to be done after 2012 elections. They would need both houses and the presidency. And they will probably get it. They had better repeal the HC bill(not a ***ing law to me) and then they had better pull back our troops and practice some "conservatism" in international policy.
