++1, exactly.

Paul did well, he statistically tried for first for crissake. It's just a poll, let's move on to more pressing matters. Who cares about Mittens.

I am of the opinion that if people are going to study numbers related to the straw poll, they should study exactly why there were 800 CfL tickets and only 438 Ron Paul votes. Start with the assumption that our people didn't show up, not with the assumption that there was some type of error, malfeasance, mistake, blunder or some wrong thing, done by some other organization.

It seems that almost no matter what the results are, theres a search for a conspiracy to harm Ron Paul. Not saying there isn't one, but it really would be best to focus on things that you have control over, and that would be increasing the number of votes per ticket. Keep getting better and better at that.

No worries though, the last 2 straw polls were overall big victories.

This IS apart of moving onward. They need to know we are watching.

Affirmative.
They need to be aware that we are watching, Watching and reporting every small detail and inconsistency.
It won't keep them honest, but it will slow them down.

I take the more obvious assumption. 300+ tickets went somewhere else and not to "us".

Still I see it as an overall win. Dr. Paul can not be dismissed.

Yes, time to move on!

Not only that - but I seriously believe now that this is the BEST possible outcome! This actually helps LEGITIMIZE his support, and I would say has probably gotten him more MSM coverage than if he had won.
