I remember this. What a great night that was. My only comparison in life is when I saw a famous goal from my favorite team last year.

Love that video. Funny thing, though, but I realized $12 million is probably what the first quarter goal will be for RP 2012.

Ron Paul is virtually a household name now.

You figure the day he announces is 2 million + off the bat, then we have December 16, 2010 for another 8 million ish, give or take 2 million. That leaves a couple million to fundraise up to the first debates in May of 2011 and meet the $12 million goal.

Extrapolating from there, we could fundraise in the 10s of millions of dollars. On the other hand, the economy may play a role in fundraising efforts.

With proper planning, a $12 million single day bomb is not out of the question.

Makes me chuckle when we were elated over raising $1 Million over a one-week span (500K being the original target)

November 5th was also unforgettable.

The first day!

Let's under-promise and over-deliver. December 16 was somewhat disappointing to those who those we would break $10 Million. I say a good 3 million within the first 36 hours of his announcement, if not more. December 16, 2010 is a different story, though. $5-$10 million is easily feasible, IMHO, because RP's support rarely if ever peels off and he's probably got ALOT of people who like what he has to say but just aren't ready to commit 100%

It's gonna be nuts if we ever get back and running at full force. I can't wait. :D

Yeah some of those numbers being floated around were over the top.

Still it set the record.

Now, barring any unforeseen silliness, doubling that is, I think, very, very "doable".

With the good health of the Pauls assumed, lets say WHEN, not IF. :D
