http://www.evangelicalsformitt.org/ is a phony. By using the word "Evangelicals" in the plural the webmaster would have you believe that the organization represents the opinion and preferences of a large group of people. Upon closer examination of the web site, it becomes quite apparent that the site only represents the opinions and aspirations of a handful of professional political activists. The people behind the site and its propaganda all seem to be GOP lackies. Follow the links and see for yourself.

"Evangelicals for Mitt" is simply the work of a few individuals that once upon a time attended a Presbyterian church. They do not represent the views of any large church group or organization, as they would have you believe. They are just grasping for way to add legitimacy and name recognition to their cause of getting Mitt elected.

Evangelicals pass out Bibles, not piggy banks.

So, are you suggestion that the campaign for liberty got beat by just a few lackies with no organization or following?

He's probably thinking this group was a way to channel funds to get people there that already supported Romney.

Romney is not supported by evangelicals, in fact he struggles with them, especially in the South. So this group was used or made because it gives the idea that evangelicals support Romney when they don't in hopes that evangelicals will think other evangelicals do support Romney, then join the bandwagon and support him.

Real evangelical groups out there would not have rallied behind Romney, they would have rallied behind Palin, out of Palin, Paul, and Romney.

So I'm inclined to think this group is small and was used to make Romney more appealing to evangelicals too.

There are thousands of domain registrars so isn't it a coincidence that romney08.com and evangelicalsformitt.org are both registered at the same registrar?

Hucksterbee and Palin own the Evangelical vote. The idea that a northern liberal and Mormon like Romney would appeal to Evangelicals is ridiculous.....This is a rigged front group for sure.

I love Ron Paul.

My most favoritest YouTube video of him of all time was when ge was in the stairwell before a big speech (can't remember where). He bowed his head in prayer before he went onstage. So humble..He's my HERO.

Nancy French's Evangelicals for Mitt has been offering around 200 tickets for free,
for anyone who wants to come and support Mitt Romney. At the party before
Sean Hannity's live taping of his TV show, French's group handed out 800 copies
of their man's book, "No Apology," and countless piggy banks.
It's hard to say how many of the people grabbing those favors will back Romney
-- one woman I spoke to, clutching two piggy banks, snorted when I asked if
she'd vote for Romney.

So who is Nancy French ?

"Yes, you read that correctly. We're actually co-sponsoring the largest gathering of Republicans in the country this year. I know this raises a host of questions, so below I present the "EFM SRLC FAQ" (hey, I'm in the military, so I can't live without acronyms.)"

you can name an organization anything, and politicians do use the names to manipulate people. In the louisiana caucus in 2008, all the other candidates formed a coalition ballot called the "Ronald Reagan/Pro-life Slate". no shit. Ron paul narrowly lost to ronald reagan and pro-life.
this was actually mccain's slate disquised as a pro-life/ronald reagan candidate. and people were sucked into the trap.
Mitty is doing the same thing here.

This group bought 200 tickets and offered them free to people if they voted for Romney at the SRLC convention.
