Don't be afraid of John's low post count/recent join date--I can vouch for him (I invited him here).

The 10 SRLC tickets I bought have all been claimed. Can anyone else step up?

I think the CFL is giving tickets away for free now.

Dear Campaign 4 Liberty Member,

Congressman Ron Paul is speaking in New Orleans this Saturday at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, and time is running out to reserve your spot!

The Conference will be held on April 8-11 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Riverside Hilton Hotel.

There will also be a private reception following Congressman Paul’s speech.

There will be straw poll voting taking place Friday, April 9th and Saturday, April 10th from 10am to 5pm. Campaign for Liberty wants to be well-represented at the Conference, so please come out and show your support for liberty in the straw poll.

Thanks to the support of a generous C4L donor, Campaign for Liberty is offering tickets to the SRLC for FREE (normally $119). Here is what attendees receive:

1) Access to the main sessions via live simulcast television. As space allows, during any session, you'll have access to the main ballroom.

2) Great food and hospitality at the Taste of Louisiana Party on Friday night. Trust me - you will experience some great food!

3) Complete access to breakout sessions, the exhibit hall, and the straw poll.

4) Not only will you have the opportunity to see Congressman Paul speak in person, but the Conference shares the weekend with the French Quarter Festival, where you can enjoy over 150 musical performances, as well as the cuisine and culture of the Big Easy. It's guaranteed to be a terrific weekend!

Invite your friends! You and your friends will get all of this absolutely FREE!

Matt, can you edit out the full email and just leave the link to the other thread in the SRLC sub-forum? The last thing we need is Mittbots finding out about this.

Better yet, can the moderators move this entire thread to the Southern Republican Leadership Conference sub-forum?

It's worrisome, actually. It's why I took the time to write http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=239061

Probably should have bought half that amount.

Probably should have bought half that amount.

The amount C4L bought was right--I think at least 800 votes will be needed to win the straw poll.

The problem is that the Ron Paul base has mostly failed to recognize the straw poll's importance.
