When Paul was at the Iowa Straw poll he was polling ?? 1-2%? in the polls yet he took 9.1% and about 1,305 votes.

If Paul has broader support and more organization for 2011, what his a good goal for this?

ps- does anyone still think there was vote fraud last time?

I say we should go for 55%.

There was a big dip in turnout in 2007 (I've forgotten the conventional wisdom on why that was). If turnout returns to 1999 levels, then at least 7,000 votes will probably be needed by the winner. See this thread beginning at post 111: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=234672&page=3

I don't know, but we should definitely plan for it if Ron Paul has serious momentum.
