View Full Version : Since when do Presidents consult with attorneys before waging war on their own?

I hope anyone who heard him say that, felt slapped in the face as an American, and that he gets an even worse responce then he did when he said his sons were serving America by supporting his candidacy, instead of joining the Military to serve in the wars he supports.

What kind of nation will we become, if our President turns to his lawyers about how he can wage war on his own without being impeached, before he does it.

The stuff that comes out of this guys mouth is beyond offensive and ballsy.

If he gets elected through a rigged election, is he going to change the name of the U.S. to Romney LLC

Who is supporting this clown anyway?

That was a pretty dumb move on his part.

He was caught giving an honest answer for a second there - lives and breathes lawyers.

I really think anyone who isn't a Ron Paul supporter hasn't really listened to him. Honestly it's the only explanation. These other guys are all such fakes. Ron Paul speaks defends liberty and freedom. Come on is there really a choice here.

Media is all over Romney for the comment, but not showing RP's smackdown! Surely that is newsworthy?!

The media is reeming him for it? Awesome! I turned off my TV. To bad they are not also showing Paul reeming him for it.

My thoughts exactly, Americans do NOT want to hear about their president consulting lawyers in order to see if they can wage war.

It all depends on whether the MSM takes him down for it though.

I lost it in my living room when Romney made his "lawyer statement".

"LAWYERS!!!!!!! WTF!"

Dr Pauls smack down was the highlight of the debate. We need a nice 1 minute youtube of the 2 statements...Romney's statement folllowed by Paul's rebuttal.

You watch, he will weasel his way out of it and the OM will give him a pass.

At worst he might have to spend a few more million to buy some more supporters.

Consult lawyers? How about this secret transcript:

Bushie: "Yo Berto, is it ok if we torture a few of them terrists?"
Berto: "Hell yeah, you're the commander and chief."
Bushie: "I like the way you think..."

I think that was his way of trying to avoid answering the question, and it backfired on him bigtime.

Couldn't believe it when I heard it. Well, that's one more down.
