"The inertia of humans is so huge that you can't really do anything meaningful.”
In other words there are too many of the wrong kinds of people.

“Even the best democracies agree that when a major war approaches, democracy must be put on hold for the time being,”

“I have a feeling that climate change may be an issue as severe as a war. It may be necessary to put democracy on hold for a while.” -James Lovelock
So lets upgrade democracy to dictatorship.

"EPA is proceeding with common sense measures that are helping to protect Americans from this threat while moving America into a leadership position in the 21st century green economy,"- EPA

In other words, America needs a planned economy to stop China and India from overtaking U.S. world economic dominance; a world encompassing regulatory framework to stop developing countries from competing with American exceptionalisim.

The whole racket is a protectionist scam using the mantle of science to obscure the socialistic enactment of more economic control to stop the consequences of past economic interventionism. Trying to kick down the road the payment of the piper.

"Climate change" is a coded term that really means economic climate change, 'we need to stop economic climate change' - which is about to hit the U.S. like a freight train.
