There is a movement to win 40 Dem seats so she looses her speaker of the house job. I believe that is what this is referring to and not that he's running against her.

I support the engagement by our military on foreign soil to protect our country against the terrorist threat. Action in Afghanistan is essential at this time to prevent the Taliban and Al Qeta from strengthening to the point that they can control Pakistan and its arsenal of nuclear weapons.

hmmm.... some of 435(?) votes being a neocon that will vote repub vs Pelosi continuing as speaker of the house.... lemme think here...

he's only got a 2 year slot if he wins. If he's a problem - round 2.

First priority - support candidates that are running against the most repugnant sitting reps / senators. Second priority - get rid of the Dems that are most loathsome - it it comes at the price of electing a few that we would rather not, well so be it. We can take care of that later. The WIN of getting a socialist out of power is worth a few low impact neocon votes in Congress. The difference in impact is HUGE!We need to do this! We need to run a candidate against every person that voted for the health bill - and others....

At times, there may be a candidate of ours that has no chance of winning vs a Neocon adn a Dem. In this case, we need to vote for the neocon, as they are a solid vote against Obama's agenda. Not to many of then, but a few could further our agenda.
