WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama says he believes the Tea Party is built around a "core group" of people who question whether he is a U.S. citizen and believe he is a socialist.

But beyond that, Obama tells NBC he recognizes the movement involves "folks who have legitimate concerns" about the national debt and whether the government is taking on too many difficult issues simultaneously.

this comment nailed it:

The Tea Party is a core group of people who believe in the U.S. Constitution. Pardon us.

He is a Socialist, Communist, Collectivist, Fascist, what have you....pick your poison. It's a favored tactic of statists collectivists to simply try and prevent themselves from being nailed down and defined. They favor socialist legislation, loss of property rights, loss of rights as human beings yet they are not supposed to be considered a statist/collectivist.

If he wants to alay fears about his birth and past then he should be open and frank with the American people about it. If there is sizeable doubt about his legitimacy you would think he would be more than happy to alay these fears by NOT blocking all attempts to find out about it. Who can really know? So much information has come out to raise doubts and the only response has been you are crazy or insane. Had Obama done the very simle thing of showing people the real BC in Hawai this would not even be a topic of discussion.
