Of course we know about the Free State Project, but I was wondering would a Create a Free State Project be even better? Such has those liberty loveing Americans moveing to Guam, bringing it into State hood and from the bottom up, create the freeist State America as ever known, rather than trying to turn a State into the freeist State. So how about?

What you think?

If too many people move to Guam it will tip over and capsize.

Sorry, there is nothing down there. Move to NH and get serious.

Nobody is going to move to Guam. A better idea would be to make Key West a Free Project City with the goal of secession from the US (and Florida!) to create an independent free city-state.

What about having "free county" projects in every state? The county could be an example for the state.

Question: If you truly believe in freedom and the power of free market economics how long would it take to create a roaring county from nothing? Nothing. No schools near by. No stores nearby. No jobs.

This would be an interesting study in thought and an even more interesting experiment. Sounds like a great reality show. ;)

500 people move to a deserted area and .....would it work?

Well the FSP in NH did wonders for ron paul. Maybe they should focus on having a closed primary so it's not overun. Guam sounds like a great idea.

Than how about the Northern Mariana Islands? There are U.S. territories that a Create a Free State Project can take hold on, and bring these territories into Statehood and have them become the freeist States in the Union right from the start.

Mariana Islands...I don't think so.

Northern Mariana Islands....Non-native islanders are not allowed to own land, but can lease it.

Politics::
However, politics in the Northern Mariana Islands is often "more a function of family relationships and personal loyalties" where the size of one's extended family is more important than a candidate's personal qualifications. Some critics, including the author of the political website Saipan Sucks, charge that this is nepotism carried out within the trappings of democracy.[9][10]
