Police: Man Shooting From Inside Home

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Police are asking residents to take cover after a man is shooting from inside his house, police said.

Columbus police SWAT officers responded to a home on Campbell Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. after reports that a man was shooting in the neighborhood from inside his home.

According to Columbus police Sgt. Rich Weiner, police are asking residents on Campbell Avenue between Dakota and Avondale avenues to take shelter in a basement, stay away from windows and not leave their homes unless instructed by an officer.

Police said residents inside the home were evacuated, but the status of the suspect is unknown. Police said the man has multiple weapons, and officials are concerned that one of the weapons is a rifle.

No further information was available.

That's it. No more weapons inside people's homes, too dangerous!

Also: Think of the children!

Gerald Celente predicted this (as though it was that difficult IMHO).

"When people have nothing to lose, they lose it."

OMG! He might go hunting!

If you have multiple guns in your home, and one of them ISN'T a rifle, that might be cause for 'concern'.

So this guy is shooting randomly - he's demonstrated that he's a threat and should be detained. There's no reason any decent police force should have trouble in that task.

Unfortunately, you can't tell shit from that story.
Is he firing out into the neighborhood, or at an attacker in his house?
Is he firing blanks for theatrics or practice?
Was he shooting at the repo man?

The story fails. and leaves only questions.

As long as you are alive, it is never too late.
