If the accent was bad it was because Pacino was playing a character with a bad accent.

Ive got a dusty old VHS from 1986, and havent watched it ten years or more. If I recall correctly its about an ordinary man who gets caught up in the revolution. Not a bad movie, nothing great though. Certainly not Pacinos best role.
