Ok, I used to go to a weekly function for the Catholic 20-30 year olds in my town called "Theology on Tap". It was basically a bunch of people meeting up at the same bar in town every wednesday night with a speaker discussing something related to catholic theology ranging from an artist discussing religious art to a doctor talking about the catholic view on birth control.
The speaker usually speaks for about 45 minutes then leaves 15 minutes for questions...then everyone just hangs around and socializes for a while.
I remember it started out fairly small with about 20-30 people showing up each week to about 100 people packing the place after a few months.
This would be a great thing to do with pro-liberty speakers who support Ron Paul meeting every week with a different speaker each week. Most bars that usually have bands on the weekends are happy to supply their stage on a Wednesday since that's usually a slow night for them.
