At our precinct meeting last night there was a very strong anti-Bob Bennett sentiment, and 2 of the 3 state delegates were firmly committed to replacing him. I have talked to people from 15-20 precincts around the state, and the vast majority are reporting either a complete slate of anti-Bennett delegates or a majority that were anti-Bennett. Only one reported sending a full slate of Bennett delegates and he said their precinct meeting was very much railroaded by the precinct chair.
From what I saw in my precinct, and what I am hearing from all over the state, I think there is a very good chance that Bennett will not even survive convention. It's a beatiful thing.
