"Congressman Ron Paul understands, like no presidential candidate in recent history, that the central purpose of government in America is to secure the liberty of her citizens," said Representative Ingbretson. "He has the unbelievable integrity and guts to speak out and vote the liberty agenda of the Founding Fathers-not once, or occasionally, but every time. Never in my lifetime have I seen anyone running for president so oriented and in these days of Patriot Act madness I endorse his candidacy unequivocally."

Use this in the NH newspaper flyer? Or at least write editorials to NH newpapers!

Keep in mind that NH state reps are pretty small-time. They make $100 a year.

That's part of why it's great to live here -- and why it's possible to move here and get elected (http://youtube.com/watch?v=5GpZ5sbZOSs).

Rep. Ingbretson earned a "B+" from the NH Liberty Alliance (http://nhliberty.org) in 2005 and 2006, and an "A" in 2007. Basically, that means he votes like a Libertarian 85-95% of the time. There are about a dozen NH State Reps with a similar track record. I am hoping more of them will come out for Ron Paul in the next few weeks.

Here are the bills Ingbretson sponsored in 2007 (http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/house/members/memberbillssponsored.aspx?member=376480). Marijuana decriminalization & medical marijuana, freedom of choice on whether to join a labor union, fully-informed juries (http://fija.org), prohibiting mandatory fees for state employees... not bad :)

Please note, I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. :) I'll be joining the FSP eventually. I've been following it for several years now.

$100 a year?

Yep. The exact amount is written into our State Constitution.
When the money got debased, so did their pay :)

What do you mean when the money got debased?

$100 used to be a lot of money back when NH first became a state and set that as the rate for state representatives. Now its tiddly winks. Inflation.
