So I heard on the radio that the Senate can "birdbath" amendments or something to their bill and hold this up. Then someone called the "Parliamentarian of the Senate" can decide to send it back to the House, for changes and a re-vote. Also that there has never been a House mandate that got through the Senate without at least one trip back to the House?

Posting from Blackberry. Can anyone confirm this? Does it matter?

P.S. Biden can just override the Parliamentarian. But that's political suicide since some Dems. don't approve of Nancy's tactics to get this through.

They may be able to send the reconciliation back to the house, but the main bill has passed both houses. It's a done deal. Now they are just tinkering with the main bill.
