The first two days were intense political training. Mike Rothfeld talked about the "real nature of politics":

Those of us who chose to work on the Rand Paul campaign were able to meet him on Thursday morning:

Rand gave a speech to the volunteers which assured us he is the "real deal".
We then all marched over with Rand to a coal rally, which Trey Grayson was attending too. Rand Paul signs dominated the crowd as you can see from the post-rally interview:

We spent three days doing door-to-door:
