Well...he's not an isolationist but there is no doubt that Ron Paul is a Gadfly. That's why none of the other candidates will utter his name or even respond to him. Every time they open their mouth to disrespect him he becomes more powerful.

1. A persistent irritating critic; a nuisance.
2. One that acts as a provocative stimulus; a goad.
3. Any of various flies, especially of the family Tabanidae, that bite or annoy livestock and other animals.

Another general understanding of a gadfly is someone who becomes irritated or bothersome the more you criticize them. At least this is my understanding of the term. So i take it as a truth and not necessarily bad.
