Hey, even though Mittster did excellent fundraising in Utah, I know plenty of Mormons who actively fought against him. Sadly, many people supported him as a "fellow Mormon" with really no clue what he represented (sound familiar? YES IT DOES!)

If he is a Mormon then they do indeed have a good idea of what he represents. I mean, you're talking about how people fundamentally view themselves and the world around them. Its not really a strange thing to support a guy that shares the same fundamental belief about your existence as you, especially when that belief is not popular and is around the fringes of society, considered by some to be almost cult like. I'd consider it almost natural for a Mormon to support him.
