Jonathan Martin writes (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0310/34582.html) about Rand and KY in today's Politico.

The D.C. insiders are coming around Grayson. Hopefully it's too late.

It's too bad that many advocates of Ron Paul refuse to get behind a man who will as vigorously defend our constitutional republic in Washington.

Get ready for an onslaught, a no-holds-barred smear campaign against Rand. No doubt in my mind that they will do anything.

Do all 'journalists' take the same class?
Journalism 101
Requirement: When writing an article about Ron Paul, or even just mentioning him, use the word quixotic.

“On foreign policy, [Global War On Terror], Gitmo, Afghanistan, Rand Paul is NOT one of us,” wrote Cesar Conda in an e-mail to figures such as Liz Cheney, William Kristol, Robert Kagan, Dan Senor and Marc Thiessen.

Awesome. :D

This explains why Grayson has brought in more money than Rand in the last 8 weeks.

Awesome. :D

Yeah, well there are bunches of former Ron Paul backers who aren't on board with Rand.

With an attached memo on Paul’s noninterventionist positions, Conda concluded:
“It is our hope that you can help us get the word out about Rand Paul’s troubling and dangerous views on foreign policy.”

Sounds like the military industrial complex will work very hard to drive this country into financial ruin . . .
at whatever cost to human life or financial safety that they can.

Eisenhower warned us about these fools that still haven't learned from the old CCCP yet.

I can't believe non-interventionists don't close ranks behind Rand on this one.

I can't believe non-interventionists don't close ranks behind Rand on this one.

Conda was a Cheney loon . . . still at work from Virginia for the war machine.

Rand needs to talk to Kentucky about the economy and money and jobs more . . .?
We can not afford a foreign policy that really has little to do with making anyone safe,
and the post-conflict responsibilities will drive us into the ground for decades.

It's all about the economy . . . no banker bailouts . . . and a better and really safer foreign policy.

Rand's vote will not be for sale to anyone - he will vote for the people of Kentucky.
And the war machine is starting to sound afraid of that.

The "Machine" never learns. The "Machine" is just interested in getting back in power and continuing to skillfully direct the country down the path to ruin...it is so frustrating. I pray that Rand wins...we desparately need him in Washington.

"Should Paul win the seat, it would create one of the most striking home-state odd couples in Senate history and raise questions about McConnell’s political strength at home and in the national party."

I really hate to say it after the bullshit that he pulled recently. Everyone says he is just using us. So I say we use him. Get Rand on Beck, again and again. Beck likes Rand, and I honestly don't think Beck is an establishment guy, just an idiot at times. Provides a large national outlet to embarrass these establishment pricks.

Sincerely,

Slutter McGee

I'm with you Slutster, get Rand all over. We have to somehow fire up the old Meet-ups, and get donors lined up. Rand is behind in money, and more is flowing Grayson's way, in $2,400 increments.

I probably wasn't going to do much campaigning for Rand. I am now. If nothing else I will take a day off work and do some sign waving outside the legal limits at the polling places in southern KY. I live near Nashville and I'm sick of these bastards!

What flag is Grayson wearing in that picture?

With supporters like this, who needs Dick Cheney? (http://micadaily.blogspot.com/2010/03/rand-pauls-take-back-house-rally.html)

If you look at the AP Style Book (which 90% of reporters use) I am willing to bet money it uses that word to describe Ron. I took a media writing class in college and reporters are trained to write articles like cookie cutters. It's kind of sickening actually.

yeah the photo is very interesting. They actually have Rand looking better than Trey. Contrast this to 2008.

The fact half-dead Darth Vader Cheney himself is now involved in helping Greyson shows Rand is really onto something and could very well win. The archest of the neocons are freaking out Ron Paul's son is going to actually win a US Senate seat! Let's hope they're too late. When is the KY primary?

More today from Politico (http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0310/Fear_of_Paul.html):

A Democrat active in pro-Israel circles told me this week that Grayson has become an unlikely cause celebre for pro-Israel donors in and around New York.

Here come the left-wing Democrat dollars for TG. It cannot be stressed enough that Tuesday's money bomb must be a resounding success.

Well if this doesn't get the Ron Paul troops fired up, I'm not sure what will. We need to raise a half-million or so to fund Rand's final push.
