Why would he wait until last minute? For the media attention?

To quote from another current thread:

Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes.

He always has been, always will be. Principled politicians don't believe in the collective.

It was probley plan out right from the start, to provide more drama for a movie base on Obama's life and time as President. Like the Obama statue in Indonesia, were they might make a scean of him as a young kid playing with the butterfly, letting it land in is hand, and than relasing it in a scean, than years later, were the statue is, another young boy looking up at it, sees a butterfly flying around, and it lands in his hands...

I believe the way they got to Dennis Kucinich is through his wife.

it's not for the attention ... it's to get the best possible incentive to switch his vote.

Kucinich was so impoverished as a youth that there was a time when his family lived inside a car, so I can comprehend how he became a rabid socialist. ;):D

I hope the various "Kucinich may be a socialist, but he is principled" people will pipe down now; this pretty much shows he is not.

Even if he was a principled socialist, that would just give me more of a reason to hate him. I'd rather have an unprincipled socialist who would be less likely to follow his own principles of raping the American people.

Some that came from those same circumstances later realized that it's the government's policies that cause poverty.

There were 3 anti-Kucinich stories on infowars' front page today:
"Kucinich Sells Out On Health Care After Ride In Air Force One"
http://www.infowars.com/kucinich-sells-out-on-health-care-after-ride-in-air-force-one/

Kucinich’s turnaround highlights the fact that, although he is the closest thing the Democrats have, he is no Ron Paul. His own principles, the good of the people, and the Constitution unfortunately come in a poor second place to the special relationship between big government and corporate America.

"Kucinich Kisses the Ring as Obama Deceptively Sells Totalitarian Care in Ohio"
http://www.infowars.com/kucinich-kisses-the-ring-as-obama-deceptively-sells-totalitarian-care-in-ohio/

Dennis Kucinich, one of a very small number of Democrats who originally opposed Obamacare, now apparently believes it is fine and dandy for the government to force the commoners to buy health care insurance at gunpoint. He also believes large insurance corporations deserve a monopoly in partnership with the government.

Should we ever trust Dennis Kucinich again? I think not.

"Kucinich Buckles, Will Support Obamacare"

that is my thought on the matter exactly, and I've always advocated not supporting the man unless one of his issues is in agreement with libertarian principles. I was merely poking at those who support him merely because he's "principled".

The local Tea Party group is going to gather at his Lakewood office in about 1.5 hours. Hopefully they will make the news.

The logic of that gathering somehow escapes me. But yeah, I hope they make some noise.

It is doubtful they will change the congressman's vote but since he is in the news, it is easier to convince the news outlets to cover the rally. Free publicity to bring their issues to the masses.
