View Full Version : Ron Paul flat out too lazy... Bad quote?

From the ConcordMonitor:

But he sounded an uncertain note when asked how he could convert that energy into votes.
"We get criticized so much because we're not going to enough states. Everybody wants me to come, and the problem is I'm just flat out too lazy. I tell them . . . can't I just talk to them on the internet?"
That doesn't sound to me like something that Dr. Paul would say. Besides, the man has obviously been working his ass off.

The whole quote seems wrong and a bit damaging with it at the end of a NH newspaper article. Is there any way to validate that quote?

sounds like it was a bit of humor that did not transfer to text, we had a discussion on it already :)

If it is an accurate quote, it was meant as a joke and the reporter is an incapable novice.

Interesting bit of info from googling.

Margot Sanger Katz, the lady who wrote this article, was also the person who first incorrectly blogged that Ron Paul was a 'supporter' of Ed and Elaine Brown.

The forum guidelines have a sliding scale of tolerance based on the long established credibility of the user.

I'll let myself slide. But just this one time. ;)
