Do you have a ticket to the debate?

HAHAHA, hell no. I'm just a lowly independent and I have no desire to give the GOP $500 to attend a lunch. I'll be outside the debate with my car and signs and enthusiasm!

Yeah, I'll be there too. What time are you arriving? Where are you going to watch the debate at?

ya'll oughta make a bunch of flyers about the rally, and give them out to everyone at the debate. hopefully the people who get to hear his debate performance will come to the rally and be inspired to donate. we need every new person we can get

The only real numbers I've seen are the 530 from facebook. I would LOVE 2000 folks. I sent the message out to all Michigan/Ohio/Indiana/Illinois meetup coordinators as well to see if any other midwest folks would like to come and party.

The more the merrier I say!

Everyone showing at the Michigan rally is a freaking maniac.

Good luck there - will be true madness!

Try to beat Nashville, if for no other reason than to knock those (well-earned) chips off of Matt Collins' and the Nashville Meet-Up's shoulders.

We only had a week to prepare for this, (we're still shocked the nationals agreed to have Ron Paul at Michigan), but we're confident we got the word out. The word spread rapidly through the networks, we ran a table all in promotion for the even on Friday. Along with another Ron Paul for President airplane banner we had a good dozen people at last Sat's football game telling people about the event. There is what I hope will be a front page article in today's paper. I would have liked to have done more, but given the circumstances I think we've done an excellent job letting people know Ron Paul is coming to town. I know we're going to have people from all over Michigan and out of state; there's even a group coming from Ohio State, and outside of one November every other year they NEVER come to Ann Arbor.

Now THAT is commitment. We have a group from Ohio State coming to Michigan Ann Arbor campus!!

If that doesn't tell you the depths to which we all support Ron Paul, nothing will.

Tonight will be my first time to hear him speak in person too. WAY PSYCHED!!
See you all in Dearborn about 1pm!!!

I'm pulling my kid out of class early today to head up with the wife and me. The way I see it, this is an education you can't get in a 4th grade classroom!

Nearly 560 confirmed guests now. I'll expect we get even more on campus and a very large number from everywhere else.

I'll try to post a separate thread about this as we get closer to the rally and debate, but I got this word from Jeff Frazee:

I'll be bringing the justin.tv/ronpaul (http://www.justin.tv/ronpaul) headset with me to the debate tomorrow in Michigan. It looks like there will be an enormous Ron Paul crowd (http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/015976.html) on hand. I'll hopefully catch the Ron Paul rally in the streets before the debate, and then I'll be in the "spin-room" for the post-debate coverage. Afterwards, we pack up and quickly travel to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor for the on-campus rally (http://tamu.facebook.com/event.php?eid=11880990243). The plan is to broadcast as much of the festivities as I can.

If everything goes to plan and we avoid any technical problems, justin.tv/ronpaul should be the place to be before and after the debate! (http://www.justin.tv/ronpaul)

If there is still anyone who hasn't decided to come yet, the event will be free and parking in one of the city lots is very cheap, only $.80 hour, so everyone should be able to afford to come.

We need everyone that wants to come to come. We need everyone who thought about coming, to come. We need everyone who decided not to come, to come anyway.

Nothing backs up the "Ron Paul wins another online poll" better than 1000+ real world supporters meeting just after the debate!
