There is a web site that lets you see what the delegate selection rules are for the delegates to the Republican National Convention from your state. Some states have all delegates selected by the voters in the primary, many have a hybrid process (like my state of Indiana) whereby some delegates are selected by the primary voters and some are selected by the state party convention. Check your state and see the rules for your state. In Indiana, the delegates selected by the primary election are actually a minority of the total delegates and most of Indiana's delegates are not bound to vote as the voters in the primary voted.

Check your state. See the rules for YOUR state.

Don't lose heart though. If Ron Paul is the heir apparent of the voters in the primaries across the country, then the delegates might just feel they have to go along with the will of the people. But just to be safe, check your state and act according to your conscience!
