He has been a long time friend and I have been looking forward to talking to him about RP as I wanted to see how people on the christian right felt about RP's ideas. He told me that if RP is on the ballot in California he will vote for him:D He is the state chaplain for the CA wing of the CAP.

Start hooking him up with dvds/stickers/SOF--you are in pay-dirt, way to go!

Now just teach him to convince all that he ministers to vote for Ron Paul and you'll be in business.

He doesn't mix politics with sermons which is a good thing but he knows a lot of people.

I don't think any one method did the trick but I think that it is the fact that the republicans did nothing while in power that represented what we believe in, made him receptable to an honest politician. It has been said here before that the best way to convince people is friends talking to friends. If you have always been somewhat aligned politically it makes it a lot easier because they know and respect your opinions.
