If teachers were like any other profession, free from government favoritism and protection, any one would be free to fire their teacher and like wise for the teacher in firing his or her student. The deciding vote would be made with the dollars freely exchanged or denied accordingly.

If teachers are treated like any other government employee, continuous displays of ineptitude will result only in the teacher being promoted out of the position for which they are performing substandardly in, as opposed to going through all the hassle and nightmare flowchart as posted above.
